The House System
The house system at Sri Kakatiya High School is designed to provide students with a supportive and inclusive environment outside of the classroom. Each student is allocated to one of our four houses:
- GANDHI –RED
- TAGORE –GREEN
- SAROJINI –YELLOW

House activities are an integral part of life at Sri Kakatiya High School. From inter-house sports competitions to cultural events, there are numerous opportunities for students to showcase their talents and skills. Whether it’s participating in the annual sports day, drama competitions, or debates, students have the chance to represent their house and earn points towards the coveted House Cup.
House Events and Celebrations
Throughout the academic year, each house organizes various events and celebrations, adding excitement and spirit to school life. From house picnics and talent shows to traditional festivals and charity drives, these events not only promote teamwork and collaboration but also allow students to bond with their peers and house mentors.
House Leadership
The house system also provides students with opportunities to develop their leadership skills. Each house is led by a team of student leaders, including a House Captain, Vice-Captain, and Prefects, who are responsible for organizing house activities, fostering a sense of unity, and representing their house with pride.
Mentorship and Support
At Sri Kakatiya High School, we believe in nurturing the holistic development of our students. As part of the house system, each student is assigned a dedicated house mentor who provides guidance, support, and encouragement throughout their journey at the school. These mentors play a crucial role in ensuring that every student feels valued and supported within their house community.
